As a Structural Engineer, you are responsible for developing structural calculations and designs for steel and concrete structures within complex industrial environments. You translate technical requirements into practical, safe, and buildable engineering solutions that meet both project and operational demands.
You work closely with colleagues from various engineering disciplines, as well as with clients, project managers, and contractors. Throughout the project lifecycle, you remain actively involved — from concept development and detailed engineering to construction support on site. During execution, you help identify technical bottlenecks and contribute to efficient and workable solutions.
The projects involve high levels of technical complexity where reliability, safety, and continuity are critical. Your contribution ensures that installations and structures can be constructed and maintained efficiently, even in environments where downtime is not an option.
What do you need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer or Constructor
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and current engineering standards
- Experience with steel and concrete structures, preferably in industrial environments
- Experience with structural analysis and design software such as Idea StatiCa and SCIA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, collaborative, and eager-to-learn mindset
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
