You will act as a second pair of eyes on electrical engineering and design documentation, ensuring the technical quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the Netherlands office or other international engineering centers.
The position involves reviewing electrical design documentation, vendor drawings, and ensuring proper interfaces between electrical systems and vendor package units.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the electrical engineering team during project execution
- Acting as a technical reviewer for electrical engineering and design documentation produced by different engineering offices
- Reviewing electrical designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards
- Supporting engineering activities related to substations and switchgear systems, mainly low voltage (LV) with some medium voltage (MV) consumers
- Reviewing and coordinating heat tracing systems
- Supporting engineering activities related to plant lighting systems
- Reviewing earthing and grounding systems
- Performing vendor drawing and documentation reviews
- Coordinating and aligning electrical interfaces with package units
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure proper system integrat
What do you need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within the energy, oil & gas, or process industry
- Experience with electrical engineering in EPC projects
Strong knowledge of:
- Low voltage (LV) systems
- Medium voltage (MV) consumers
- Substations and switchgear
- Heat tracing systems
- Lighting systems
- Earthing and grounding
- Experience reviewing vendor documentation and electrical design deliverables
- Experience working with package unit interfaces
- Good understanding of international electrical standards
- Excellent command of the English language
