Senior Commissioning Engineer

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you are the technical specialist responsible for adjusting, testing, and commissioning electrical installations. You work independently on complex technical challenges, bring structure to processes, and know how to realize sustainable solutions. You are frequently active on-site—both in the Netherlands and internationally—and always maintain an overview of planning, quality, and progress.

In this role, you will work with an expert team and may be involved in power electronics projects (such as converters), which offers opportunities for technical in-depth study and collaboration with other disciplines.

Core tasks and responsibilities

• Independently performing commissioning work on electrical installations, nationally and internationally.
• Assessing and analyzing technical situations and identifying deviations.
• Applying relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures during commissioning.
• Coordinating with project teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Identifying risks and anticipating technical, process-related, or organizational challenges.
• Documenting work performed and test results.
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and organization.
• Contribute to the correct and timely delivery of installations.
