We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Engineer with 5–10 years of relevant experience to contribute to a variety of medium to large-scale engineering projects. This role involves delivering technical safety expertise, managing key deliverables, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all project phases.
As a Safety Engineer, you’ll be responsible for a range of disciplines, including technical safety, environmental engineering, human factors, sustainability, and loss prevention. Your leadership will drive success across complex, multi-office project environments, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices.
You will play an essential role in understanding project business cases and translating them into efficient and innovative engineering practices. Additionally, you'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills throughout.
This is a hands-on role where you'll provide expert advice, lead technical activities, and take ownership of safety deliverables such as hazardous area classification, consequence modeling, and dispersion modeling. You’ll also be a key player in developing strategies that enhance project performance, safety culture, and team collaboration.
What do you need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (required)
- 5–10 years of experience in Safety Engineering
- Experience in FEED and/or Detailed Design project phases
- Strong background in: Technical and process safety deliverables
- Regulatory compliance and environmental engineering
- Consequence and dispersion modeling
- Demonstrated leadership in multi-office projects
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
- Proactive, pragmatic mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams and cross-disciplinary departments
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Real team player with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- EU National is a must
