You will be part of the global competence center for Data Centers, where projects are carried out worldwide.

As a Busbar Engineer, you’ll design rail channel systems that handle critical energy distribution in data centers. Sometimes, you’ll even work on industrial projects. When it’s a challenging project, we’re there.
Given the short lead times and high demands from our customers, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted. You’ll handle:

• Electrical engineering of designs.
• Developing technical designs in a 3D environment.
• Resolving issues related to layout, component selection, fire safety, mechanical interfacing, electrical auxiliary systems, and cabling.
• Coordinating with colleagues on the design of low-voltage distributors, medium-voltage systems, or E-houses.
• Reviewing technical basic and detailed designs.
• Maintaining proactive communication with customers, considering commercial aspects.
• Organizing and attending factory acceptance tests (FAT) with customers.
• Preparing documentation.
• Providing office support during assembly and commissioning.
• Managing punch lists and ensuring smooth project closure.
• Developing and proposing improvement initiatives.

What do you need

• An HBO degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering (ideally in an international project setting).
• Accuracy, critical thinking, and broad technical interest.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility, practicality, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site at customers’ and production locations, both in the Netherlands and abroad, for short periods.
