As a Primary Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of safe, reliable, and technically feasible high-voltage installations. Our client is a trusted engineering partner delivering technical solutions for complex high-voltage ranges from 110 kV to 380 kage projects. These include expanding and modernizing networks and substations for industrial clients and transmission system operators (TSOs), operating within voV. At the start of your role, you will support the current Lead Engineer as you settle into the position. On average, you will manage around eight projects simultaneously. e.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and specify primary components for high-voltage systems (110–380 kV)
- Act as the key technical advisor on primary system matters within projects
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including time and cost estimations
- Communicate design rationale clearly to clients and project stakeholders
- Work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive engineering solutions
What do you need
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of relevant experience in high-voltage engineering
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as PLS CADD, ELCAD, and BIM
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn the language in the short term
