Your Role
As a Power System Studies Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering advanced technical analyses and simulations that support the design, optimization, and reliability of power networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, stability, and reliability assessments.
- Develop engineering solutions for substations, transformers, renewable energy assets, and grid connection projects.
- Conduct network modelling and simulations using industry-leading software tools.
- Support project planning, technical reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
What do you need
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in power systems, transmission networks, or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, PSS®E, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with renewable energy grid connections, protection coordination, or consultancy projects is highly valued.
- Fluent in Dutch and English..
