Vacancy information
As a Power Systems & Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electrical and Power-to-Heat concepts during the sales phase and translating these into detailed engineering packages for project execution. You'll work closely with commercial, engineering, and R&D teams to deliver high-quality, future-proof energy solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing electrical power distribution systems and detailed engineering packages, including electrical schematics, instrumentation selection, communication protocols, and cable sizing.
- Supporting sales activities with technical input during bidding and feasibility phases.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, directives, and safety requirements.
- Supporting supplier selection and providing technical specifications for procurement activities.
- Supervising installation and commissioning activities, including Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the standardization of electrical designs and engineering processes.
What do you need
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in power systems and industrial automation, including electrical design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of LV/MV distribution systems, renewable energy integration, and energy trading market fundamentals.
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and EN standards, SAT procedures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally for installation and commissioning activities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with EPLAN.
- Experience with electrical installations in Spain.
- Knowledge of the Dutch electricity market.
