In this role, you will lead electrical engineering design activities, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to projects that focus on energy efficiency, digital innovation, and future-proof building solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development of electrical engineering designs for complex building projects.
- Coordinate and review technical designs, calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Design and specify:Medium- and low-voltage electrical installations
- Lighting systems
- Fire detection and fire protection systems
- Communication and data networks
- Building electrical infrastructure
- Lead and support design engineers and BIM modelers.
- Monitor project quality, planning, budget, and technical compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
- Work within a BIM environment using software such as Revit and BIM 360.
- Contribute to sustainable and innovative building concepts, including:Net-zero energy buildings
- Grid congestion solutions
- Thermal Energy Storage (ATES/WKO)
- Solar PV installations
- Smart Building technologies
What do you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Building Services).
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar engineering position.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Engineer.
- Experience with building services installations and sustainable building solutions.
- Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage systems.
- Experience with commercial buildings; office and residential projects are preferred.
- Good understanding of Dutch electrical engineering standards and regulations.
- Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM); Revit experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
