As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead a team of Electrical Engineers while remaining actively involved in the design and development of complex electrical systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, improving technical standards, and ensuring successful project execution from concept through commissioning.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the Electrical Engineering team.
- Designing and reviewing electrical schematics and control cabinets.
- Developing electrical solutions for advanced industrial equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards and regulations.
- Improving engineering processes, documentation, and design standards.
- Collaborating closely with Mechanical, Software, Production, and Project Management teams.
- Providing technical support to customers and field service engineers when required.
- Taking ownership of projects throughout the complete engineering lifecycle.
What do you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering within machine building or industrial automation.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software such as EPLAN.
- Experience with PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
