You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams and clients, translating process requirements into practical control solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

The Controls Engineering team is responsible for developing and implementing automation and control strategies for large-scale industrial installations. Working in a collaborative project environment, you will interact with Process, Design, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Vacancy information
- Preparing technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Developing system descriptions for HRSG startup, shutdown, and operational sequences.
- Creating Functional Control Diagrams (FCDs) and control philosophies.
- Selecting and specifying field instrumentation.
- Ensuring contractual requirements are translated into control system requirements.
- Participating in HAZOP studies and reviewing safety-related outcomes.
- Managing SIL assessment implementation resulting from HAZOP reviews.
- Supporting the procurement and selection of Burner Management Systems (BMS).
- Coordinating with Process Control System (DCS) suppliers and programmers.
- Converting functional requirements into clear specifications for PCS programming.
- Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and supporting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Participating in client meetings related to controls, safety, testing, and commissioning.
- Working closely with Process, Design, and Supply teams to ensure system integration.
What do you need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, Instrumentation, or Measurement & Control Technology.
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Experience with Siemens T3000 and/or SIMATIC PCS 7 is highly preferred.
- Understanding of control philosophies, automation systems, and industrial processes.
- Good knowledge of fluid flow and heat transfer principles.
- Ability to translate process and functional requirements into automation specifications.
- Experience participating in HAZOP and SIL-related activities is an advantage.
