Vacancy information
As a Cable Engineer, you will act as a technical expert, bridging communication between clients and colleagues, and ensuring the design and performance of high-voltage cable systems meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include designing and calculating new cables, developing detailed layouts, preparing and presenting technical proposals, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations. You will be a core part of a 30-person team reporting to the Team Lead, contributing to diverse and impactful energy initiatives.
What do you need
- HBO/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably with high-voltage systems
- Strong knowledge of European cable engineering standards and legislation
- Proven ability to develop and present technical designs and proposals
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset with a collaborative approach
- Experience liaising with both internal teams and external clients
- Prior experience with high-voltage cable projects is an advantage
