Our client is seeking a Control Systems Engineer with expertise in SCADA integration to join our team.

Vacancy information

  • Collaborate with suppliers of Telecom, CCTV, Fire Detection, HVAC, and other systems to gather requirements for integration into the SCADA system.
  • Ensure that all relevant information from different suppliers is integrated into a unified system.
  • Work with HVAC suppliers to obtain complete lists of requirements, load flow, and lifetime information for seamless integration.
  • Assist in the network setup and configuration for efficient data transfer between systems.
  • Oversee the integration of Fire Alarm systems and instrumentation within the SCADA framework.
  • Manage the communication process between the SCADA system and various integrated systems.
  • Ensure that all systems interface with each other effectively to facilitate seamless operation.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in SCADA integration technologies.
  • Support commissioning activities as needed, ensuring smooth integration and operation of systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

What do you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Control Systems Engineering, with a focus on SCADA integration.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems and their functionalities.
  • Familiarity with integrating diverse systems such as Telecom, CCTV, Fire Detection, and HVAC into a centralized SCADA system.
  • Knowledge of network setup and configuration for efficient data transfer.
  • Experience working with Fire Alarm systems and instrumentation.
  • Previous exposure to the Marine/Ship or Oil & Gas industries is highly desirable.
  • Some commissioning experience is preferred but not excessive.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
