Our client is looking for a Site Representative – Electrical & Instrumentation to join a construction yard in the Netherlands for an offshore substation project currently in the construction phase.
In this role, you will act on behalf of our client as the first point of contact for Electrical & Instrumentation matters on site. You will oversee E&I installation and commissioning activities, monitor progress and quality, and support the resolution of technical questions or site issues as they arise.
You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and the client’s project team to ensure that work is carried out safely, correctly, and in line with project requirements.
Key responsibilities include overseeing E&I construction and commissioning works, responding to site queries, supporting inspections and walk-downs, reporting progress, identifying risks or issues, and helping drive the project toward successful completion.
What do you need
- Available to start within 1 week.
- EU passport required.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or similar.
- Strong E&I construction and commissioning experience.
- Experience in offshore substations, offshore wind, oil & gas, marine, or large industrial projects.
- Able to represent the client confidently on site.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willing to work full-time on site at a yard in the Netherlands.
