Proposal Engineer datacentre

As a Proposal Engineer, you play a key role in developing technical and commercial proposals for reliable backup power solutions. In this position, you act as the link between engineering, sales, and customer needs. You translate complex technical challenges into clear, well-structured quotations and proposals that enable the sales team to advise customers effectively.

You prepare initial technical concepts, including visual representations, to support customer communication and strengthen the commercial process. You actively gather the right information from suppliers so that the best possible solution can be assembled for each customer request. In doing so, you build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers both locally and internationally.

You are responsible for creating detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates, technical specifications, and timelines. You work closely with colleagues from sales, marketing, engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure that each proposal is technically feasible, commercially sound, and cost-effective.

You also maintain regular contact with customers to fully understand and document their requirements and expectations. You are able to translate these needs into practical and tailored solutions. In addition, you contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, processes, and working methods to increase the quality and efficiency of proposals. You also ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all quotations and proposals.
