You will join a specialized Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering team consisting of experienced professionals spread across multiple locations in the Netherlands. As an E&I Engineer, you support industrial clients throughout the entire engineering process—from feasibility studies and conceptual design to detailed engineering and realization. You translate complex technical challenges into practical, compliant, and future-ready electrical solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing electrical installations for industrial applications
- Performing cable calculations, short-circuit studies, and lighting calculations
- Compiling consumer lists, distribution studies, and single-line diagrams
- Working with engineering software such as Intelec, DIALux, and Vision Network Analysis
- Applying relevant standards including NEN 1010, NEN 3140, and IEC 60364
- Ensuring proper integration with instrumentation systems
You are involved in both new-build projects and complex existing installations, such as:
- Electrification of production lines in the food industry
- CO₂ capture installations within the chemical sector
- Integration of battery energy storage systems into industrial power networks
What do you need
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience in E&I or electrical engineering
- Experience with or strong interest in power studies and cable calculations
- Familiarity with Intelec, DIALux, and Vision Network Analysis, or willingness to learn
- A VCA VOL certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Good command of the English language
