Permanent employees have a contract with us for an unlimited period; they work on a project or in sales and may be seconded from time to time.

Temporary employees are employed for the duration of a secondment contract with one of our customers.  A contract may be succeeded by
(i) a temporary contract with another customer or
(ii) permanent employment with one of our customers after an agreed period of time.

Consultants are “independents” who sell their services using our payroll facilities and company network. They do not wish to abstain from social security benefits (sickness and unemployment).
Often they intend to become freelancer. Others wish to maximize their salary at their present employer by “going independent” whereby FairPlay Engineering invoices the employer.

Freelancers also use our network from time to time to secure new orders.  They don’t have an employment contract with us but invoice us for their services.  Many employers don’t employ freelancers direct but use an Agency like FairPlay Engineering.

We are always open to discuss the contract best suited to each individual employee.
